Tyrese Gibson Confirms His Return for ‘Transformers: The Last Knight’

The last Transformers movie, Age of Extinction, ditched the human cast from the original trilogy and introduced a new one. However, that won’t be the case for the next entry, subtitled The Last Knight. Josh Duhamel‘s Lennox will return for the fifth film, and now, another character from the first three movies is coming back.

Actor Tyrese Gibson has confirmed to Entertainment Tonight that he will reprise his role as Robert Epps in Transformers: The Last Knight, which is currently undergoing production. Regarding his plans for next summer, he says, “Let’s just say 2017, summertime, it’s going to be a lot of energy out there in the universe: Fast 8, Transformers 5.”

Both Duhamel and Epps were absent from Age of Extinction, and it will be interesting to see what leads to their returns in the next movie.
