A new trailer for the Will Smith football drama Concussion has hit the web. Much like its first trailer, the film certainly doesn’t appear to paint the National Football League in a positive light, which means you likely won’t be seeing many commercials for the flick while watching a football game in the next couple of months. Check out the new trailer down below.
Concussion chronicles the true story of forensic pathologist Bennet Omalu’s (Smith) fight to bring public awareness to chronic traumatic Encephalopathy — caused by repeated blows to the head — in professional football players, and the obstacles he faced in challenging the political, cultural and financial interests of the sports business.
Also starring are Alec Baldwin, Luke Wilson, and Albert Brooks. Peter Landesman (Parkland) directs.
Concussion hits theaters Christmas Day.
