Bryan Cranston Gets Blacklisted in New ‘Trumbo’ Trailer

Oscar season is about to kick into full gear with such films as Steve JobsThe Revenant, and The Hateful Eight coming out very soon. Another hot contender for a few Academy Awards is Trumbo. Bryan Cranston stars as Dalton Trumbo, a Hollywood screenwriter who gets blacklisted because of his political beliefs. Based off of the true story, this movie seems like the perfect film for Oscar voters and rightfully so. Cranston looks fantastic and the rest of the cast seems to support him well. Only time will tell but check out the new trailer below.

The successful career of 1940s screenwriter Dalton Trumbo (Bryan Cranston) comes to a crushing end when he and other Hollywood figures are blacklisted for their political beliefs. TRUMBO (directed by Jay Roach) tells the story of his fight against the U.S. government and studio bosses in a war over words and freedom, which entangled everyone in Hollywood from Hedda Hopper (Helen Mirren) and John Wayne to Kirk Douglas and Otto Preminger.

Trumbo hits theaters on November 6, 2015.
